Streamlined Warranty Process - (in progress)

In an effort to reduce the cost and hassles of returning malfunctioning items, HID Canada has introduced a simple return procedure. We will notify you if this process applies to your case when your ticket is submitted per instructions below.

Start the process by submitting a ticket to the "Returns & Warranty" department. We will walk through preliminary steps with you.
Upon approval, you will be asked to take a photograph of the defective product.
Upon confirmation, we will process the warranty accordingly. That's all!

BALLASTS
For ballasts, cut the wires coming out of the ballast (not the bulb!) and show the serial codes/production date (in the same picture). This will allow us to quickly verify the serial code against your order and identify any issues with inventory batches. 


BULBS
For bulbs, cut the return wire (covered by a white, blue or brown sheath). The return wire is the wire covered in a ceramic sheath outside the glass capsule. Be careful when cutting the wire as not to break the glass capsule!  


LED LIGHTING PRODUCT
We will arrange for return of the product with you.


OTHER ITEMS
For other items not listed here, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to handle warranty concerns.
